It’s tough to play the “flavor of the month” club driven by corporate, meaning one month Merck is the hot vendor, then it’s Elanco, then it’s Zoetis (yes, Zoetis, now that we’ve badmouthed them for years about paying nothing to us).
I work with most vendor reps and have no issues taking them into my clinics, but in the end, as a distributor rep, it really ends us being a grab for more existing business or new customers, not switching a clinic from one flea/tick product or vaccine to another. I really couldn’t care less what they buy, just buy it from me.
