I think it’s a travesty that one partner is going to COE and another is not based on some subjective and random measurements. Nothing tells me that our leadership does not understand sales people more than the ridiculous decision to award COE winners this way. Neither me nor my partner won this year, but I could not imagine leaving her at home and having any chance of enjoying myself.
 


I won, and my partner did not. I feel the same way. I am more sad than happy today. I hope they change it back to the way it was ASAP.

Don’t get me wrong, I am glad that I won’t. It isn’t easy. But, my partner is a strong partner and deserves this recognition as well.
 


The sad part of this is we now have people going on this trip not because they had the best sales, but because they were cheerleaders for their Regional Leadership Team. Meanwhile, someone who worked hard, but maybe wasn't as vocal about tooting their own horn, and had better sales, is now going to be sitting at home. This system is way too subjective and puts too much power in the hands of leadership. I agree teams shouldn't be split up, because they will no longer be a team. This was a bad idea from the start. Culture killer, or what little was left of it.
 




How about the ACL that preached all year to never stopping selling despite supply issues and back 2 back years changes the IC plan to accommodate his lackey? When it’s all about numbers it’s cuz his numbers are good but when they aren’t good, he convinces you it’s KPI’s to be rewarded.

Defines impact as bottled common sense by the guy who talks over everyone on calls and is the absolute laughing stock who was congratulated by no one today. That is your top rated impact leader. You just lost ALL credibility with your entire LT. Maybe you could hold a town hall to explain how you passed over 5 regions with growth last year to pad your guys lack of impact.

This- 100%. In our district, those who are the loudest on district calls, regional calls and Erg groups are the ones who work the absolute least. Saw this coming a mile away when the Impact measures were rolled out.

omg~ I so know what you are talking about. it was a running joke within the o world he would have one spot cemented regardless of what he did in 2024. clearly remember when he was able to convince them the supply shortage didn’t really hit until a mo later because that would move him into the COE spot. clearly living the nni way!

It’s the Managers and Directors that calibrate. Give some respect to them for being a better negotiator instead of crying.

Stupidest thing I’ve heard. Our LT sent two folks to COE that were bottom of the area in sales growth. I’d love to be a fly on the wall when “IMPACT” was discussed. TBH it completely demotivated my entire squad. Now that we see how it’s played, we all joined ERG’s and are having a contest to see who could send the most emails.

Isn't it interesting how it's mainly the females who are the worst about this? The amount of toxic in-team competition because of the impact stuff has become truly nauseating to witness. From what I understand it was the woman who came here from GSK to the East who brought this crap here. Apparently they launched it at GSK years ago, it failed and they went back to a regular IC program. Now it's here, hooray! ( and before you jump all over me I am also a woman). I may be incorrect about the GSK person but have it from a reliable source.

This. 100 %. I know of 4 very senior reps who are leaving over the next 2 months in part because of all of this.
 




COE is a farse. They keep sending educators to COE? What did they sell? And leadershit doesn’t give a damn about fair. Best 2yrs on record for NNI and the nation didn’t come close making goal. Speaking of making, they couldn’t even make enough sema to meet the assigned goals. Most sales people do their job, winning this farse has less and less to do with your efforts. Relax, enjoy the ride before it ends, because it will come to an end.
 


It’s the same way at all the companies, it’s not how good you are it’s about being in the right place at the right time and stacking up against the metrics! For those that win it’s a good trip usually and leads to more compensation but for those screwed over and over it sucks! But there is not a single company that is different mark my words.
