It’s the same way at all the companies, it’s not how good you are it’s about being in the right place at the right time and stacking up against the metrics! For those that win it’s a good trip usually and leads to more compensation but for those screwed over and over it sucks! But there is not a single company that is different mark my words.

Wrong. Medical device you actually have to work and you can’t bullshit your way to a promotion or get ahead by giving head like in pharma

Same. My partner worked very hard. Definitely deserves the win as much as I did. Now there’s tears and tension. Not good.

Really? Because a stupid trip that I assume you can probably afford on your own? Feel that bad do you? Take your partner instead if your guest. Sniveling babies. Who cares about COE it is a joke. I had been for the 10 years I have been here. Babies. Life isn’t fair and if you don’t know that by now why are you in sales. Oh I know because you couldn’t get a job as a communications major? Tears and tension? Drama. If you feel so terrible take your partner with you! Yep have the sniveling boob be your guest. People life isn’t fair and if you have been in sales for more than a minute at any company you know there is a layer of how much you are liked to this layered cake. You can be the DBMs favorite but the RBD doesn’t like you. Or some of the other managers don’t like you, or better yet everyone likes you but your DBM.
Do the right thing poster-take your partner on the trip and let EVERYONE at COE know. Or don’t go at all. Take the money. Do you have the balls to do either? Guess I won’t know till I see you there.
