CSS Rolls Into PC This Week

CSS .......? What a joke.... The reps are worthless and bring no value, when was the last time you saw a css rep get anyone to dinner program? They set up a program in an effort to justify their existence then frantically call PC reps to help drive attendance. Then the only docs who show are from PC. Absurd.........CSS makes me laugh...

awwwwww, someone is sad they have to use a real speaker for their programs and can't just take out their top PC docs for "round table" journal clubs anymore

Maybe if CSS actually did their job and cultivated some Cards/Endos as speakers, I wouldn't be using my top PC docs. Its pretty bad when we don't have one single Card/Endo as a speaker. But the CSS rep has zero accountability...its the Abbott way.

No kidding, my CSS reps are a joke. Two of them are guys who have been around forever and are absolutely worthless. They have no relationships with any cards or endos in our territory, have dropped the ball on every program we've ever tried to plan with them, and even though they can't seem to sell to our cards won't let us in there, they go crying to their manager every time we try to get some business, any business, out of our specialists. Pretty sad state of affairs when the PC docs put their patients on Niaspan, only to go to the cardiologist and be pulled off, because our cards write 0% Niaspan. Just beautiful. I'm gonna be so pissed if I get laid off and they stay!

I have had the exact same experience with my CSS reps. I can't remember the last time they even worked my part of their geography let alone influence dr's. And I can't tell you how many times I have had one of my PC dr's tell me that the card took the patient off Niapsan after he/she had started them on it. The PC dr's are not happy with the cards and ask me why the cards do not support Niaspan. Gee, don't have an answer for you dr. cause I am not allowed to talk to them. Complete crap!

Yeah, and then when your PC docs come out, they're the same old crew who go anywhere there's free food and they write 8 scripts total per month! The programs are what's a joke, not the CSS reps (although every franchise has it's share of poor reps). Time for the pendulum to swing back, so we can make it more attractive for key physicians to come out after a long day of work for some valuable interaction with their peers and thought leaders. You sound like a check-the-box-show-activity kind of rep. I'm a little more into quality and making sure what I do is a good investment of time and money. Guess I must be the joke, huh?
