One of my favorite stories when I was a rep for Novartis, was telling my manager about a comedian that was questioning the integrity of the business practices in the corporate world. I thought it was funny and shared it with him, and all this corporate manager hack could say was "well, that guy makes more money, so he can't be all that stupid".
This just pinpoints the problem with being a jaaggggooffff sales person in our modern society. Clueless managers and people that have no clue how to build business relationships and think that having more money than another person makes you smarter in life.
Nothing could be further from the truth. In all honesty, most of you have average to below average intelligence. You were not smart enough to get real careers in college, so you did sales. Now, you make a decent living, but are too dumb on investing and over consume. The perfect slaves for the system. And you don't see. Worse, you get upset when people smarter than you (me) bring it up because you still think that money equals wisdom.
Carry on.
