Did it ever occur to you that there might not be but just a very small number of reps of color? We can’t just go out and scour the landscape for a particular color of applicant! So Mr./Ms./Mrs. Activist, what is your brilliant suggestion to fix this “problem” that you have identified?
I believe hire whom is a perfect fit for the gig. We just can’t fill a quota. History shows that they don’t last. “They” meaning the wrong person for that space.

I’m old enough to remember when Intuitive offered to give black logo hoodies and bonuses for every black referral hired (2021?). Half the referrals didn’t make it through training. Meanwhile half of the women are literally running for the hills over the massive amounts of sexual harassment and good ole boys club while the other half are forced to post on linked in about WISE and how they loveeeee women and hiring diversity. It’s quite the scene.
Haha probably not. But who knows, they may automatically put you in a leadership position just to show how diverse and “woke” they are and I’m sure you’d have job security! No knock on you, just a fact. Word of advise, if they ask to use your pic on all their marketing materials and linked in posts, I’d charge a fee LOL

you sound like you still work for intuitive… so you must know that intuitive LIVES to fill quotas. This comment is pure gaslighting unless you realllly don’t know what goes on? Let me enlighten you. There are all kinds of incentives to hire black people and veterans and have been throughout the years. Listen to any of the erg calls or get on linked in. I’ve tried to train hires that barely had the capacity or experience to work at Walmart because of the incentives intuitive gets/gives. Sometimes leadership will call managers and make them take on these hires when they get them out of recruitment fairs. Not all hires are made equal. Some of the best people at the company are black or vets. That doesn’t mean John Doe that’s never had an independent thought a day in his life straight out of the military will be a great fit.
