Do better, IT Recruiting

Interviewed 6+ weeks ago for position in BMS IT. Got through first round and then second round panel. Crickets since then, and I've given up on following up. Clearly they don't have their act together. I accepted another offer with no regrets since BMS doesn't seem to give a crap.

Poonam in Tampa is the worst. I hadn't heard from her in weeks for a job I had gone several rounds deep in. I emailed her for an update and she replied that they had selected another candidate. But like a few hours later she called me frantically saying her email was a mistake, meant for someone else, and that they wanted to make me an offer.

WHAT THE ACTUAL F?

No thanks. It's not you, it's BMS.

I'm happily employed at biotech in Cambridge now, but sheesh. What a bad look for the company.
