If anyone ios interested in working at Stryker, please reconsider.

1. You will work 80 hrs a week
2. You will not get hired if you are 35 years or older
3. You will get fired if you don't hit your numbers
4. You will not get a base salary
5. You will not get any company issued resources
6. Healthcare reform will change the sales environment dramatically
7. California and other states are banning sales reps from the O.R.
8. HMO's are ruling by bulk bid and not by individual sales

Why does this sound tempting? Do you like to live in misery? The days of the good old boy network are over and being a medical equipment sales rep is nothing like it used to be.

You can take my advice or reply with a silly comment. Sometimes the truth hurts. And yes, I am a former Stryker rep with 15 years experience and I now look back and regret my career choice. I spent so much time in the O.R. etc.. and missed, honestly 15 years of my life, watching my friends kids grow up, spending time with my family and having fun.

Life is too short and don't let a beast like Styker take away 1/5 of your life.

they get you in and suck the life out of you and then spit you out.........

the smart ones that get hired in, in a white collar professinal job. They put in 3-5 years and get the hell out! They know what stryker is all about before they get hired in or see it while there..............yes the grass is greener on the other side!
 
I am a 29 yo whiney bitch who played college football, reps 235 on the bench 10 times while getting a bj from my cheerleader x gf while my model wife is at home with the 1 yo, o btw I'm 187% to quota and my W-2 reads 330k and currently chugging a protein shake while typing 52 words per minute with one hand.. who's the bitch now.

Currently a Stryker rep making really good money. I work my ass off but have plenty of time for my family and friends. If you dont like making money and working hard work for the government or materials managment at your local hospital. If you are not a pussy and know how to get shit done Stryker will treat you right and you will make a ton of money.
