To those talented individuals with the skills to succeed anywhere, keep looking past here.

To those desperate for a job, pursuing a model for self edification, and the adventure of spelunking in deep crevasse of the of the digestive egress of senior ring masters, then this is your place.

Can you expand on this? Why should this company be avoided at all costs? Top 3 reasons would be nice. And is it just Sales or is mfg or support functions better?

1. Shrinking portfolio that relies on one product and one market to carry the company as competition diminishes the profitability.
2. A massive debt to earnings ratio, with decreasing sources to raise working capitol.
3. An eroding quality culture that has impacted product availability, causing an erosion of market share and a dilution of the portfolio.
4. A corporate culture that rewards failure, to protect egos and shield itself for any responsibility in the environment of poor leadership having hollowed out the company of high achievers in the pursuit of a high corporate equity score.

1. Completely agree although competition hasnt taken as much market share as you think. But yeah the portfolio sucks
2. 120%. I don't think can even raise finances now with so much debt
3. Agreed and quality has always been bad but now it's worse
4. The biggest problem right now at Ferring. If the don't get their act together, it's possible that in 3-5 years time, the company is a hollow shell of what it once was or sold off. They do not have a bright future ahead.

If you are desperate for a job and need money, come. If you don't need money and can afford to wait, this place is becoming toxic by the week and you are better off elsewhere. The only time I would take this is for a big promotion and pay raise, wait for 1 -2 years with a solid plan to leave for better companies.
