This is the most micromangered, small minded company. There are so many admin duties and endless conference calls - no one can get work done.

I have never been exposed to anything like this shit show in my 20+ years in the industry. It is the most unprofessional management team and something must change. Christine Coyne and her lil side kick Maricel are a cancer. Mark is a "yes" man along for the promotion, he is a decent human being and I have no idea how he can stomach their nastiness or being called "Markie". Anyone wonder why you didn't hear anything about the last survey? I can't get out of here fast enough, oh but we are rolling you over, who gives a shit, will probably only make it worse. As long as Christine is here it will never get any better, the revolving door will continue. Evan, how can you be associated with this disaster? It's a shame bc Nuzyra is a great drug, poorly marketed and distributed but a great drug that will be ruined by an inept management team.
The steady flow of people leaving has gotten little to no attention, no one has had an exit interview bc no one gives a shit why they left, what does that tell you?

I've never responded to a message on CafePharma but know the people at Paratek well. It's a shame to see this company evolve with such a lack of a positive culture. What a great opportunity for an organization to motivate, recognize, and challenge colleagues, but instead its one of do as I say because I know best. No matter how experience or successful you have been in the past you will quickly be relinquished to a worker bee with input and success that is never tapped into unless you're one of the "chosen" ones and we all know who the "chosen" ones are. They are hand selected into the posse and if you're not in the posse, you're free game. A great statement from Leadership is "No one has a monopoly on experience" so we should tap into one another and create a successful organization. Unfortunately they are only words and not taken seriously. Such a shame that good people work so hard, but it's never good enough.

Completely agree, if you do offer your opinion or suggestions you become a target because NOBODY should dare to question Maricel! She is not even remotely open to hearing someone else's perspective, so arrogant it couldn't possibly be better than hers. Look at the downfall of this company and more importantly moral since she got here. The posse comment, spot on, you all know who they are and if it's not you, then you have a large bullseye on your back, you all know who they are too. The unprofessional hack gets on calls and attacks individuals by name, no one dares to defend them because then she turns on you. It's no secret who she is trying to get rid of because she has run her mouth so much.
Now, Christine, first off, go buy some damn shapewear for God's sake, you are not the size you think you are and can't imagine what working from home has done for that, Spanx and your ass are "match fit". You have created the monster and one of you needs to go. Hopefully, now that we are rolling over, HR will play a large role. Rumor has it that Maricel and Christine have both been reported for their unprofessional, abusive management styles; no surprise, hear it happened at previous companies as well. You have a chance to get it right and do something good here, it's the moment we have been waiting for since the beginning, show some GRIT and make some much needed changes.
