I was recruited out of device and lured in as well. It isn't a sales job at ALL. Above is right, in front of your computer all day with 10 different softwares to manage and data to analyze. It is insulting to recruit device reps who are used to being in procedures and hustling. If you want to be bored and deal with office politics go for it. The recruiter really spins it. Terrible experience and I know others who bounced as well.
