FUN??????? You have to be kidding! Those meetings are painful. Role play ad nauseum and the same information given to us over and over and over. I would rather have a root canal with no anesthesia than go to one of these meetings. They are a worthless waste of time. NO ONE really wants to be there.
 
Fine by me...I could give two shits about Vegas. And isn't it interesting that there hasn't been any mention of "pre-work" for the meeting? With a meeting of this scale, they would always have a schedule of pre-work items well in advance. Yet, all we hear is chirping....
 
Nobody WANTS to go to meetings, but since we have to in this job, I would sure rather go to Vegas than some podunk hotel in Illinois, or Jersey or Dallas like we've done in the past. Or just local regional meetings at a Courtyard. At lease after all the role play fun, we can go out and have a good time on Abbott's dime. I for one hope I get to go, you can be miserable or have a good time...it's your choice. I'll just be happy to still have a job!

Cant get drunk and stay out gambling, because you might get called up in front for roleplay the next morning. So whats the point in going to vegas? To be teased with booze, dice and prostitutes. Id rather save the 7 hours of travel for someone else and stay local at the Marriott. But we would still have our jobs. Quit complaining self

These meetings are run by DM's who are no longer in the field and don't know how to sell anymore. The role play is ridiculous and we are all expected to be drones." Gee Dr. what if anything stands out to you?" They want us to stay out late socializing and then be in our seats ready to role play at 8am. These meetings are PAINFUL. As I said, I just get through them.
