Dreading Launch

Every launch has been a horrific experience with all the BS about how great the drug is and how it's covered when it's really not. Then they roll out the pip or pep plans and more people leave or get fired. Not looking forward to this next few months of stress on top of stress. Not sure I can handle this again. Anybody else feeling the PTSD reaction to launching another dog on top of being hounded everywhere for working for Purdue?

Haha. Probably a TBM2 hired from outside the organization. Culture 2 failure monkey. Don't worry, most Culture 1 types will perform great. Hopefully your overlay is Culture 1.....

in a word. YES. Anyone that says they don't feel this way is either lying or have ten MDs wrapped around their finger that have agreed to write this dog regardless of lack of coverage. This will be a grind and will no doubt end in drastic changes if we don't score a real product within the next six months. My advice...say yes a lot and do the best you can cause it's a shit sandwich and we're all gonna have to take a bite.

C1 here. Its gonna suck big donky B—-S. Been here since launch of palladone and they have all been a clusterF !!! Of course some territories will do ok - but if u r in poor state or area - u know the screwing is coming ! Just buckle up and hang best u can. Maybe they will give us aomw PrepH as Christmas present this year !

We will have no coverage, there's no reason for anybody to cover this drug. There are far too many other options. Also, the Purdue stink won't help sell this. Being confronted daily about our legacy has me in counseling and taking drugs for depression and anxiety. The worst thing is, I'm not even getting paid on those docs, as they've got the list so f'd up. Thanks Purdue

You would think that a new product launch would be an exciting happy time for a pharmaceutical company. Only a company with a hostile corporate culture and shitty products make something that should be positive into something stressful and horrible every time.

There's nothing exciting about continued stress with Opioid market, losing coverage, targets only, messed up target list, on and on, now let's add this big barker to the mix. Hundreds more will flee and the rest will wish they had.

Moving launch up, good thing I'm on the call today or would not have known. There was no official announcement and too bad for the terrible communication. As if I care anyway, the MK video I just watched makes me want to throw up. This guy..........I have no desire to work for him or for Purdue. Target list is terrible, market is OTC driven and we are all taking a hit on bonus. Put a big fat fork in me plz......

i got at least two strange looks today when i tried to explain why this "new" drug was so compelling....and then after the strange looks i got some huge laughs when they asked me about coverage. fun times!

Not a single plan will pay for this product. Why push it when docs will only have to experience grief with PA? We will deliver sales when managed care delivers coverage. Thanks.
