The money that Dynasplint makes off the product is ridiculos.  They need to pay the sales force better and maybe people would stay longer than 6 months.  They make the splits for $200 or less and bill the insurance $395 per month rental.  Then when the patient is done with it after 4 months they send it back.  So Dynasplint pockets $1580.  Then they wipe the splint off and rent it to another patient same deal $1580 or sometimes more depending on the rental term.  Now if they have been around since 1981 and renting those same splints out they are taking advantage of the system.  So let say a splint gets rented 3 times a year, thats $4740 a year times 29 years....they make $137,460 off one splint.  $137,460 time however many splint they own...my calculator can't even hold that many numbers.  So why do they send so many patients to collections for non-payment?  They need to charge less and work with more patients.  No wonder why our insurance in America is so expensive with companies like Dynasplint around!!
