Dysfunctional Management

Management Lies. Micro-Management. Un-motivating. No bonus structure. No travel budget. No clinical studies. No hospital formulary kits. Vaccine side and IV side run as two separate companies, when in reality we should all work together to get pre-bookings and orders. Sales force very experienced, yet mangers treat the sales force as if they are new to the industry. Very drink the Kool-Aid management, not think outside the box management. Do it this one way and this one way only. Call on these people and these people only. Grow up Seqirus and let the sales force run with the products and grow. Pay for the data that is needed to succeed and not fail. Giving the sales team vaccines now after in your own management words "we know everyone has already pre-booked" is setting the sales force up for failure. Stop being so cheap and put the money out to get the data to make us successful. Get over the micro-management, and lead and motivate the sales force. Give the sales force a reason to make Seqirus successful.

How any company would hire let alone promote this bafoon is beyond me. He must have some dirt on JJ to be protected to this extent. What other manager in history of pharmaceutical sales would hire reps without EVER meeting them or even a Skype type interview. He flies to cities to "work with reps" and always has his internet girlfriend with him. He recently let me work a display by myself "you go this" after paying thousands of dollars for 2 reps to be there because his girlfriend was with him. Apparantly she needed some pool time. Truly a disgrace.
 


Doesn't the corporate office look at this idiot's turnover record? Lost a rep in Portland (someone that worked with him before), San Diego or Austin (I guess he never moved), Dallas, Kansas City, 2 in Denver, 2 in Phoenix, hired one who immediately went out on medical leave and posts to LinkedIn 12x a day. The rep in LA couldn't sell a snow cone in Phoenix and brings Reynold's wrap to meetings to cover up the windows. ODD BALL. No one want to work for this man. He couldn't be less invested in this company or his reps and everyone feels it. He keeps this job only to fund his lifestyle including trips for his east coast internet girlfriend.

I am sure its not just Frank, but Brain has lost a few reps himself with major turn over, Steve is new so who know what will happen with him, yet when Kevin was in the position lost reps himself. Frank and Kevin both worked with JJ so I am sure there is dirt on them. Who knows why they keep useless Brain around. Everything starts at the top and just found out that our so called account managers (I mean vaccine team) just traveled to Louisville to tour the facility that Seqirus has there. Interesting how they want to grow this company, yet I can not even travel to the second state that I cover to make calls and try and grow the business as we have no budget to travel with, but the account managers can travel to the facility for 3 days. The reps are the ones in the field day to day activities, yet we know nothing about what goes on as we are the last to hear everything. Just like we are the last to start to sell vaccines late in the season again like last year. Just setting the sales force up to fail.

First, Frank is not bad for Seqirus. As far as I can tell he is the only manager who treats us like adults and knows anything about hospitals and the marketplace. Can he be tough? Yes, but the expectations are laid out very clearly and he holds us to those expectations and some people try to get away with doing as little as possible and scamming the company (as evident by the lack of sales and knowledge of their market). Second, while marijuana is legal in Colorado it is not legal within the company and we all had to pass a drug test to get hired and last time I checked marijuana stays in the system for a long time (unlike the pills you take that can be washed out within 3 days). Third, the 3 reps who continually post negative made up stuff on this site are bad for Seqirus. We know who you are and laugh at you on a regular basis. The excuses on conference calls are getting old, come up with some new one's please. We realize the only reason you can't drive business in your backyard is because you can't do overnights and the account managers went to a meeting in Louisville. You need to wake up before noon and leave your house once in a while before you blame others for your lack of success. If you are not happy here and are being held back you need leave. If this continues you will be called out in public. Lastly, you know nothing about anyone filing charges because it is confidential and anyone can make accusations when they are let go (which in most cases are false). Why don't you put in writing your strategy for making our division successful and send it up to corporate, I am sure they would like the help. This may require some work on your end which will probably make it difficult for you to complete. Just make sure it contains more than my manager is dumb, I can't do overnights and the account managers went to a meeting in Louisville.

Sorry Frank but I no longer work at Seqirus. The thread gave me a sick feeling as it reminded me of the Lengthy txt you sent in the middle of the night when I worked for Seqirus. You sound desperate Frank. I feel sorry for your group.
