I have a eCardio rep calling on our practice with this new wireless device and states they can bill daily. What's the story regarding the article from Trailblazer Health? Is this legit?
 






Owner is Larry Lawson, and true he does have a history of selling off.
Recently had auditors to appraise company and try to sell to avoid greater loss due to trailblazer and other Medicare carriers.
The word is out and not only are more and more Medicare carriers figuring out their shady billing practices.
Also they continue to lose clients due to this fiasco.
It's all public information, read up on them.
 


Who ever wrote the unfounded information above has his head up his butt. I've worked with eCardio and Mr. Lawson now for over 10 years and his reputation is pristine and he has no reputation of selling off companies. The statement by the previous post knows absolutely nothing about the business of eCardio. VC companies are banging their door down to invest in eCardio even in the face of industry reimbursement issues...their audit was an accounting audit for investment purposes. Please do read up on eCardio and you'll see they are a class act... and the fastest growing arrhythmia monitoring company in the world. I would suggest that you go to their website, then go to the websites of the other scum companies like medicomp, then you'll see the difference in a quality company and the other scam weak ass companies mentioned previously who will always be light years behind playing catch up with their classless street gutter representation.

This is right on! I also work at eCardio and things there are really rockin.' I'm finding out that many of the offices are really fed up with the past representation of "other" companies which benefits us greatly. It really was a dirty business with the big 2 and their BS. Getting business is pretty simple...don't do what some reps/companies have done in the past. SERVICE is the key and many of my NEW accounts are finding our service is a lot different from past years and reps. There is a ton of business out their right now for any company who acts professional and gets the business. Thank you LW and CN! PS--please keep writing on this board...I really learn a great deal about the business from you guys!! I know eCardio does not have a board here...besides, it would not be half as entertaining as this one!!!!
 


Does the company Health Monitoring Services ring a bell? Ecardio's billing practices are wrong. They have manipulated an old holter code and pinned their sales pitch on the fear of physicians losing money by suggesting they can bill daily for an interp. The money produced from such a policy would yield a physician more than they get for implanting a pacemaker or performing a cath. That doesn't make sense. I have taken so much Ecardio business after pointing this out. It is a house of cards that is going to fall. By the way, your CRM reps may be clinical but they know nothing of the service business. ecardio's billing practices are CORRECT and the only "hack" on this site is the pleb who wrote the previous string. ecardio is growing faster than any other arrhythmia monitoring company in the WORLD! I've worked for both CN and LW and I can honestly say that ecardio is the most professional company in this space.
 


hmmmm how are they correct when there is so many companies including medicare that are charging back practices? Every policy states do not bill for more than 2 days. You tell offices to bill for 21. It is a 2 day holter code, plain and simple.

Tom V is that you? You left LW because you said you didn't believe in the ACT. Now you align yourself with this outfit? What in the world were you thinking? Find another ship before you burn your credibility.

Wow...Blue Cross is sending demand letters to practices in Alabama for restitution of fraudulent charges. eCardio has sold these physicians a bill of goods and are not providing any support. Lawsuits are being filed demanding payback. Don't believe? Contact a Cardiology group in Alabama!
 


Can you believe E-Cardio is just like all the other Companies out there, they just terminated 23 people in Florida as they closed their office. No warning just called a meeting and showed them the door.

A lot of the 23 were former LifeWatch employees, who had the same thing was done to them earlier.

E-Cardio have a Happy Holiday!
 


Folks this is going to be easy... The days of IDTF's running the CEM world are slowly coming to an end. The prosecutor in the Lifewatch settlement explained it well. CMS expected the doctors to get paid not Ecardio,Cardionet Cardiocom Lifewatch etc. Those days are soon to be over. Non IDTF's and fair market value for service WILL take their place.

I guess that statement was wrong.... nearly 3 years later.
