It's a great way to get your name out there for being foolish with your money. There's no evidence such a desperate action leads to anything positive such as increasing sales. When is the last time a surgeon said I would use your crap if only you put your name on the side of a sports arena? The money would have been much better used for R&D or gifting to a responsible charity.
