One of the reasons this place Be A Mess, is that leadership positions are filled with people who have no experience in the therapeutic area. VP for Heme came from a diabetes division, a CV DM to RD Heme, a Cell Therapy Director from ONC DM who doesn’t know the difference between myeloid and myeloma, or Cell Therapy executive leadership who wants to see call metrics for Account Managers. How can you effectively guide a team when you don’t even have an understanding of the therapeutic area?

Boner deep inside him wanted to make sure be a mess is destroyed, and will make it look like it did not survive the optivo/eliquis patent expiration soon. Boner is a hero to remove such toxic mess from the market. Bravo!

Fully agree. Most managers are not hired because of their expertise in a particular area across pharma. Too many good people are not promoted and many are laid off. This disease is everywhere because of insecurity. Idiots and gossip mongers have managerial roles.

I know at least one executive director who knows nothing about hematology, has limited Pharma experience and is not a MD.

Spot on...this is what this place does because some current and past leaders think that is the way to run a place. So many examples in Medical. Dumbos that got promoted to Senior Director and Executive Director so quicklyand now around acting like they rule the place. They should all be fired. No wonder nothing works here.
