They let go of everyone!! 98 percent of the company!! The interview process was all to avoid lawsuits. These people had an idea what they were going to do the minute the buyout happen.
Shouldn't of been so unethical and unprofessional. Actavis doesn't want to be liable
It is THEIR loss. Now their reps will have to compete superstars like Melanie, Lenkowski and MikeMike. Are you serious?! They didn't even keep Lenny and we all know his potential.

I've always known we were mercenaries at WC. Our job was to drive business.
What rubs me the wrong way is the back handedness of Actavis. Where was the promised transparency? Even the press release is incredibly misleading. Even the conference call made it seem as though some people had jobs.
Why not call it as it is? Hostile takeover, all fired.

What should rub you the wrong way is how your management was so unethical and the leadership so poor they didn't keep a "one of you" in the field. Must feel really horrible now that you'll forever be linked to the one sales force that got axed via conference call. Look in the mirror. What does that tell you about yourself? All ex P&G reps are exempted from these comments with a few exceptions. They have seen good leadership and ethics. If you run with the dogs (Roger and Carl) you get fleas (fired). Have a nice day!
Hostile takeover is when a company buys a company that does not want to be bought. Actavis simply bought the "house" , then cleaned it. The sales force firing was the final flushing of the toilet.
I'm actually happy to not be working for Actavis. The way they handled this shows that their directors and management team don't value or respect people bothered are plenty of other companies out there that would love to WC reps. I get recruiting calls frequently because recruiters know that WC reps are competitive and money motivated, so we'll work our buttes off to be #1. Hang in there everyone ....we could be in a lot worse of a situation!
Best of luck to all the WC reps. It is sad to hear that so many have been laid off. Reports specify 30% but it's actually 100%. These reports are false. I feel for those who have families to feed and for those who actually worked their asses off.

All I can say is I'm really happy to hear that all those loser Warner Chilcott execs got what they deserved! They talked trash about all the P&G people but in the end they got theirs! Lenny and the gang deserve to be in jail over their unethical sales practices. People like them give the entire industry a bad name!!
All I can say is everyone with Warner Chilcott on resume will never get a pharm job/interview.
Thats funny because right now all 3 of us in my region are pissed with the terms of our golden parachutes because we have offers for new jobs already and can't leave yet. Sucks
just because WC has a bad rap, doesn't mean that the reps are not phenomenal at what they do. Jobs will be offered and already have across the board, those who haven't received offers just haven't reached out yet. This was a shitty occurrence, and I'm sure somehow got them out of a significant part of the multiple law suits. That being said, it is their loss, and I doubt heavily that you will see a rise in their productivity and sales.

First of all... I was NOT new to Pharma when I was hired with WC, you waste of oxygen. And second, why the hell would anyone make up that they got a job? What the hell would that do? Jesus, you are dense.
Hell, I don't know about you guys, but with stock, bonus, 401, and my severance I made a good 100k off this deal! And no working during holidays! Not to mention, I've been getting contacted for lots of great opportunities and most are perfectly ok with Feb start date. It's the best time to get hired in q1! F Actavis and those tools who accepted a job having absolutely no clue what they'd be selling, how big territories are or how a new branded company with multiple divisions will work! We are all going to be fine and find even better jobs! Stay positive folks!
I agree with you! They make SHIT MONEY at actavis, they are not competitive, my DRS say they run in beg for a sig then leave... HAHAHAH
