VDD failed? Hardly... Maybe it didn't take off the way it would if it was in MDT's bag but then again MDT could hand rocks over to physicians and they would implant it. That being said, Bio's DX has 10-12% of the denovo single chamber market. That is pretty good for Bio.

Funny, Pretty true.

Bio guys in my area didn't even know what JG's role was or what he did.

As for their VDD DX device, my guys implanted a handful of them and they have nothing but good things to say about it. If all I give up to BIO is a handful of VDD DX devices over the course of a year and I keep my Bi-V and dual chamber market - I'm good. The BIO team in our area is a decent group so I won't bash them.

In what world does BIO have 10-12% of the de novo market?

This statement is completely inaccurate.

This statement is laughable. Please direct us to a single report other than an internal BIO marketing pamphlet that validates this absurd claim.

It will never be available as a Wall Street type of report but it is a fact... BIO is indeed 10+ % in the denovo single chamber world. Go ahead put your head in the sand and keep denying. We love that.
 
Latest study shows many problems with sensing with the DX. Also the latest registry from BC shows Linox worst lead on the market with less than 90% survival at only 5 years. The only reason a doctor would use a vDX is because they are getting paid.

Can you link to "the most recent study"? Or possibly a name we can Google to bring it up?

Biotronik, to most reps, is a laughable afterthought. However, to some reps, pointing out the "problems" at BIO becomes necessary. This latter group can be broken in to two categories:
1) Former BIO Reps who found out too late that their sales abilities were lacking.
2) Competitive reps who are watching their business slowly erode thanks to BIO

I have compiled this data with my own registry...managed by me alone...here in my Ivory Tower. Essentially the same model that the Canadians used to impugn Linox.....
