It's nice to see the FDA wasn't fooled by Pacira shenanigans .....Exparel is an expensive 24 hour marcaine. It's been the case since the launch: little benefit after 1 day. Little to no reduction in need for other pain meds. Why would this ever get approved in nerve block....

They only scratched the surface on the marketing activity. Surprised the FDA did not dig deeper. (Total knee cocktail and I Tap). Money is in nerve block.

What will bring this house of cards down? FDA decision probably slammed the folks who made a ton early on via The stack leakathon to his Wall Street cronies. More class action lawsuits?

thought the nerve data was pretty strong. Baptist pulled it off formulary effective 2/15. Not sure if any other systems have done the same.
