It's been a crazy ride. I've made a ton of money for myself and my daughter. My only regret is that I wasn't able to ruin more people in the process. I know I look like a simple man at meetings with my wrinkled khaki's and my button down shirts but I really am an unethical monster in the industry. I always took the easy wrong over the hard right and the industry rewarded me multiple times. I hardly ever re-invested in my company and prided myself on letting anyone go that wasn't willing to march to my orders regardless of the legality. Sure, I had my share of heat from the FBI but it's nothing I can't/won't push on any fall guys. Good luck to those that are "merging" with Actavis. I will be enjoying life.

Truer words haven't been spoken...not...Karma will get Roger when Actavis claws back millions after they settle with the gov't for his wrongs. Hopefully he will just get hit by a bus or his plan back from Ireland will crash. The one he's so proud of and had to show off at the managers meeting in the PPT presentation. What a jack *ss!
 
It's me, Roger. I forgot to share my secret formula to getting people to do whatever I wanted them to do over the last 15 years...

Step 1. Hire a President of Sales and pay that person more money then they have ever seen (borderline obscene). Throw options and perks their way so that they will do whatever I want them to because the fear of them losing this money stream is great.

Step 2. Find/promote young RD's and do the same as above.

Step 3. Show the President and RD's that you will let them go if they ever question me or don't execute as I wish them to.

Step 4. Add layers of "senior management" so it looks like I am never directly involved in the sales force despite meeting with the RD's nearly every month and calling every shot and strategy.

Step 5. Deny any involvement of any of the tactics I force on the sales force via the RD's. Basically, pass the blame and make Carl, NC, LP, MM, AM, ST, Andy, fall on the sword if needed.

info has not been posted on the new jersey warn act site. they will have to post how many people will be laid off on that site 60 days in ADVANCE to letting them go.
 
it is a new jersey law. any company that has a hq in new jersey has to post on there when they're going to do layoffs at least 60 days in advance and give the effective date. look up new jersey warm act notice

That's terrific. Unfortunately for all WC employees, our home and corporate office is officially in Ireland. They don't have such requirements there! Sorry to burst your bubble!
 
incorrect my friend, the US home office is in new jersey. while corporate HQ is in Ireland, they still have a US office in new jersey. This is the same as many other companies, Roche, Novartis, Sanofi, Bayer, and others all of HQs in other countries but they still have offices in New Jersey and have to post on the nj warn act about layoffs.
 
I can promise you there is a loop hole there, and there will be no prior warning. Maybe if they offer 2 month severance which they said they would, that takes care of it.

You will be told of your layoff, but your termination date will be around, 60 days later. In many cases, companies will not even want you to work during that period but keep you on the payroll. So, if you are told tomorrow, your last day of official work will be December 1st.

This is not rumor, this is fact. Just go to other boards, and read their threads on layoffs. If you go back three years, you will see plenty.
