KV Pharmaceutical Co. President and CEO Gregory Divis Jr. earned $976,270 in the fiscal year ended March 31.

KV Pharmaceutical Co. President and CEO Gregory Divis Jr. earned $976,270 in the fiscal year ended March 31, more than double the $385,102 he was paid in fiscal 2011, according to a proxy statement the company filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

His 2012 earnings were comprised of a $638,750 salary, a $130,000 bonus, $204,189 in option awards and $3,331 in other compensation, which includes a $2,909 car allowance, a 401(k) match and group term life insurance.

The total pay for other top executives was as follows:

Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer Thomas McHugh earned $506,615 in fiscal 2012, including a $65,000 bonus. Hit total comp in fiscal 2011 was $320,950.
Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary Patrick Christmas earned $530,604 in fiscal 2012. He joined the company in June 2011.

KV Pharmaceutical Co. officials said July 20 that the company has been notified by the New York Stock Exchange that it is below listing standard criteria due to the company’s average market capitalization being less than $50 million over a 30-day trading period and its stockholder’s equity being less than $50 million.

After years of missteps, mismanagement and mounting losses, KV Pharmaceutical’s ability to survive is in question. The company itself raised doubts as to its ability to continue as a going concern in its quarterly filing Feb. 9 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Bridgeton-based drug maker reported a net loss of $102 million on revenue of $23 million for its fiscal year ended March 31. KV has scheduled its annual shareholders meeting for Sept. 13 at the Sheraton Plaza Tower Hotel in Westport Plaza

now wait a minute here folks...don't you know how hard he worked last year? I mean it takes a lot of focus, self determination and a blind eye to lose $110 mil with $28 mil in rev and flush a company down the toliet in 1 1/2 years post launch on a truly medically necessary drug. But that was not all...while doing so alienate every single person on the planet: consumer groups (march of dimes), md's, pharmacists (compounded too), mfm's, congress, fda, cms, hhs AND obama? WOW!! Pretty impressive if you ask me. Oh...and don't forget the pricing debacle which is STILL a pricing debacle. (Nope, won't lower price). I say congrats and maybe throw in an extra bonus for this last year's spectacular activity. Truly note worthy.

haha! can you imagine gd interviewing for a job? so...please show me your brag book and tell me what you accomplished at kv? hahaha! well, i can't wait to share...see in the first step of the launch, i priced makena at ...., then ....

And a final word to you arrogant rich: Take some lessons in lament. You'll need buckets for the tears when the crash comes upon you. Your money is corrupt and your fine clothes stink. Your greedy luxuries are a cancer in your gut, destroying your life from within. You thought you were piling up wealth. What you've piled up is judgment.
James 5:1-3

Hmmm...now if I were the "advisors" to the company I would try to think of who else we can file a lawsuit and injunction against? Who else is using up resources and not spending up those resources to contribute to kv's bottom line? Hmm...I know. How about those pregnant mom's that don't fit the indication? They are frivolously using up our potential state coffer's resources. They should have an injunction against them on not planning to have babies until kv's fiscal situation is resolved and dominates the world. I know this is ridiculous but why not? So is suing the 2 federal agencies and 45+ states. And that is just what we know about.

KV is now suing all pregnancy mothers. Based on recent decisions by Greg, would seem to be the next logical step at this company. Probably considering a lawsuit against all women in U.S. next. Great strategy. Ridiculous lawsuits started by KV Pharmaceutical to begin early next week.

haha! Can you imagine gd going for the close and asking for the job during the interview.

Now with everything I have learned in my tenure at kv, imagine what I could do to your company in 1 year flat! 1 year flat I say. I could make kv pale in comparison to what I could do with your company and also create new examples for the Harvard, Whartan mba classes and entire new industries to not only ponder upon but simply be dumbfounded. So, wanna hire me?

what about suing and requesting an injunction on every single practioner in the us that is not writing for makena? i say if you are going to go out in a blaze of lawsuits, why not go really big. i think the "advisor's" have been thinking too small.

Just in KV is has issued a lawsuit again all women of pregnant bearing age in the U.S. KV will be seeking damanges for no good reason just that they want more money to pay their CEO and his team on misfists more money.

How can they justify paying Greg and these other people so much money when they have made so many terrible mistakes. The BOD should be let go. All these high paid people who have done nothing right. This place is rotten to the core. Greg was voted the worst CEO in country last year and he makes a million dollars. When we go backrupt he will probably get another salary increase.

That is so funny. Can you imagine him or any of the managers trying to interview? MS good luck trying to find Anyone who will hire you. Make sure to include your record breaking turnover % in your brag book. Also, try not to turn red and throw a temper tantrum like a petulant child before you ask for the job. I am sure that you will blame everyone else for your failures and talk shit about your non talented reps who you hired and trained to be as crazy and evil as you are. Have fun in the unemployment line because you are just not going to get an offer from anyone unless they are filing for bankruptcy. And since you suck at kissing ass and you have burned every bridge imaginable enjoy being on the Titanic. Remember even that ship eventually sank. Just saying.]

She couldn't sell makena to save her life. The upper management hired the perfect no talent ass clowns to eat shit on a plate, smile and ask for 2nds. Get a clue and the stuttering giant will be great in court dealing with class action law suits.

Not really. When the beard was here there were 1500 people employed and the company had a market cap of 1.5 billion dollars. Beard wins hands down.

The beard is a criminal; hiding in israel with his kindergarten teacher-turned VP of treehouse interior design, sitting on a 100 million dollars +and he thinks he is entitled to more! KV is what it is today-because of the beard. The beard ruled and controlled this company-the smallest decisions went through the beard, Chrissy, beard junior. Need to order brooms to clean the shop room floor? this is the type of requisition that went through the beard-the solution? Buy used brooms from Schnucks to sweep up-oh yeah and for bringing this up-you get a ding on your annual review (which was reviewed by the beard and chrissy).

The old man-V- in KV (Victor) for those to new to remember is spinning like a dreidle knowing his beard wearing son fired his brother in law, his ex-wife, sued his own father-because he wanted to include his "daughter" from another mother in on Victors fortune-not Marcs fortune. The beard paid himself an average of 8 Million per year since 1997 and then also took another 75+ Million out when the company issued bonds. ANyone remember trying to get a 2% annual raise? You were more likely to get hit in the head with a sandal than earn a 2% raise.

There is a reason why the FDA has banned this criminal and no its not because of vanilla chewable vitamins that tasted like ass, prima-care for men, gynadog, or makena. These alone highlight the beards vision-Its primarily because of the mushroom shaped chairs, butterfly desks, and toyota pick ups that smelled like dirty feet, wet dogs, and lox (this is not a chrissy reference either).

mazel tov!

This sounds like a great episode for 'American Greed.'
