I just wanted to tell anyone looking to get into this company to stay away. The entire name of the game now is ripping off the client in every way possible, and it never used to be this way. The Zone Directors are some of the most arrogant jerks who have no idea what they are doing, and sales loses business over their complete lack of ethics and cheap deals. Half the sales force quit in the last year because they couldn't handle the stress, and so many VCA employees left too. This is not sales, it's contract negotiation, and you have no control over whether your deals close or not because you have to get the idiots above you to approve everything. It becomes a struggle between management trying to save margin and the client trying to get a good deal, and you're caught in the middle. I watch my friends who are still there have panic attacks pretty much every day; no matter how hard they work, they get shit on by management and they make no money. And you can't even trust the results coming out of the lab anymore because they mess things up so often and then cover it up. I wonder if senior management has any idea how badly things are run now that they don't handle things. It's sad because I really liked Sal and Josh. I really think this company needs to be revamped or the veterinarians are all going to quit, as well as the sales force.
