Nice wording. nobody is enticing assface. These are staged procedures. In markets where the product is not reimbursed in office, the rep takes a hit by supplying it to the patient. The rep makes zero money from going to a doc's office for a staged procedure. The docs aren't selling the product for profit. Now if Acell would hire a real reimbursement genius, this wouldn't be the case. I see a number of other companies do the same thing..submucosa, bovine dermis. Bottom line, M-stem works. Ask a patient whether or not they would like a big piece of skin harvested off their back or leg that may or may not take, and you will find out how willing they are to fork over 75 dollars for a sheet for follow up.Not endorsing the company. Actually am quite tired of their lame marketing department and knowledge-less mgrs who show internal partiality. But I will tell you this product works. In some of the crappiest patients, I have seen incredible results. It is going to take time to develop real algorithms on how to use this outside of the simple hernias and prolapse repairs. sorry to bitch. I love this technology.
