So tell me, what are you proud of? Selling a low quality product and only gaining biz by low-balling your prices? We've had major challenges this year, yes, but we're still here. We still have some of the best products in the industry, and we will regain our business back! When we do so, you'll being chasing your numbers.Good luck with that, but hey, just keep lowering your prices, your products are from China anyway, cheap labor.

I am still with GAC, but only because of the non-compete we were all forced to sign...Tomy has done an incredible job getting everything in line and getting us product, however, as long as DP remains director of sales, EVERYONE wants out, he kept a new RM and several reps that are absolute train wrecks, (all his hires) and forced out some of the best RM's and reps in the industry...he has no clue the damage he has done.

Who said I'm low-balling? I can get strong margins just by doing a better job servicing your customers than you do.
 


Sad to hear what is going on at GAC. The company is strong and will recover. Have to agree with the previous comment about their director of sales. He is a real a$$!

Loser is a better way to describe the ass, the guy has done nothing to support his sales force or the doctors. GAC has also lost their speakers, the latest was dr Roncone who left due to the poor management and lack of direction moving forward. GAC has no new products coming for at least 3 - 5 years, nothing even in the works. American Ortho has taken all GAC's reps and some of these reps have taken over 3 million dollars in annual sales with them to American. Many territories have been completely wiped off the face of the planet. There is so much hate for David that the competition are motivated by the hate, so many enemies David Painter. Even your own sales force hates you, why don't you just find a new company to ruin? Now David has lost any trust he had, nobody ever did trust the guy. Once the trust in gone you cannot recover. Who starts a new position by lowering everyone's pay, yes that was David's first move once hired, he took it on all by himself. Company core values, over the top idiot. Just to recap, Dave lost his sales force and all the speakers, consultants, they all are with the completion now and out for blood. I have taken close to 3 million in sales from GAC, and I'm still taking, easiest target I've ever had, nobody is supporting GAC these days. Soon Dave will lose more reps, GAC reps are sending out job applications daily. GAC is also losing techno employees and employees from inside. Dentsply needs to pull the trigger before things get worse. How can a company like Dentsply not see what has happened, why are they not making the change? Dave will have trouble finding a new job seeing his track record is as bad as it gets, he's 0 for 3 now.
 


Funny how everything written here about David Painter has taken place. David has now resigned and in his wake, not a death but close to, he departs with a 45 percent marketshare loss, many HR complaints, a lost wife who left him... A sales force with little to no ortho experience, no speakers to offer education as they left due to his personality or lack of, no shipping department now at GAC, he managed to lose the exclusive to Tomy products, he even managed to lose his mind in many occasions. David called out his top sales people as fucking losers when they challenged his favouritism towards his new hires. It was always new hires vs veterans with new hires catching many breaks. 2013 showed how David grossly mishandled his position at GAC, some reps had a 1 percent increase while others had 40. GAC had reps sell over 35 percent from prior year and not make a dime of commissions and or not make plan, how does this make sense? Word to the wise, David Painter will single handedly destroy your company buyer beware, the proof is at GAC.
