This company is grasping at straws and is continually screwing the loyal reps who helped build this company.

I guess they can just keep hiring pharma rejects.

It is another decision driven by our dumb ass marketing group that thinks Plavix resistance testing and GlycoMark are going to be successful tests. Oh yeah that is the same group of clowns that have been pushing ImmunoCap for 8 years as the blockbuster test that will make us rich. Take a pill dorks!
We are getting our ass kicked by other labs in women's health, so instead of adressing the problem, we are going to put the GETS in charge, and take the accounts away from us. We are not the problem, the problem is that we Madison thinks Quest can sell Paps, HPV, CF, and chlamydia at a premium, because we are QUEST. In my area, I cannot compete with price, managed care contracts, hospitals! Good luck GETS you are doomed. My GETS is great, but there is no way he can succeed. I have lost maternal serum screens, Paps, CF, HPV, because I could not compete on price.

Could not agree more ! This is a joke of a company. New Jersey has destroyed or brand and the morale of the sales force. Nice job Jack.
 
This is just the first step in getting rid of the GETS reps. They will be transitioned in to women's health reps. They won't succeed and then they will will be disbanded. This group has no ability to develop relationships and will fall flat on their faces when forced to go in to accounts themselves

If all you do is compete on price, maybe you should look for a job that isn't in sales, as apparently, you can't hack it.

Everybody relax. For the rest of the year the GETS keep their jobs and the reps keep the Obs and Gynos. Somebody convinced little Tim it was a bad idea to screw everybody in the middle of the year. Wait until next year.

I'm calling bullshit on this. The gets will take over the OB/gyms in July and guess what....the am or asr gets to hold the budget through the year. Genius idea. Bend us over again.
