I am a vet of over 20 years, and retired, so I have plenty of time to think about my worthless career.
I just wanted to let the younger generation that still think that hard work will get them somewhere in the corporate world, to reconsider that idea.
Instead, if you are a hard worker, you are much better off starting your own business, because you will probably make more money in the long run, you will have more time off for you and your family, and in some cases, you can leave behind a great opportunity in business for your children.
I would choose that direction, instead of "getting played" in the corporate game, which has really given way to inferior people with poor work habits, low character, and no talent.
