Ghosted after Merck interview

Has anyone figured out why Merck just ghosts candidates after a couple of rounds of interviews ? It’s so unprofessional to not at least send a generic rejection email, let alone make a phone call after meeting for interviews.

For the lowest possible price, it is crucial employees master the “surround sound” approach to omni channel engagement with customers. The products are fantastic and only the best of the best will be hired. Lots of money to be made with stock options. Wonderful opportunity for those worthy.

I worked for Schering Plough and we were bought by Merck. I’m retired now but I heard that in the past Merck would fly in potential candidates, pick them up in a nice sedan, take them to a beautiful hotel, wine and dine them as they wanted top talent. Just saying. Historical Merck employees, please respond. And I’m sorry to hear about your experience.

I miss Carrie Cox and Fast Freddie Hassan.

Its not just Merck, all companies are doing this now.
