Tell them the truth! Give examples! If you don’t and you sugar coat it, we will have to see it on the big screen at general session during NSM and hear them pat themselves on the back about the “culture” improvements. If we tell the truth, they won’t care or take action, but at least they won’t take credit for some imaginary improvement.

Many people like their day to day, team and managers. The issue is the customer engagement people. Out of touch, no personality, word salad coming out of their mouths. Don’t let them expand to more nonsense layers. Nothing is innovative here, this may be the only company that has hospital reps, thought leader liaisons, etc. It’s no longer 2005, stop demanding 50 different people calling on the same account. It’s maddening.

Is everyone having 2-3 day ride alongs once a month? How many people are happy with the aggressive objectives for Entresto, while corporate brags about making “their” stretch goal? Then there’s Leqvio…we are three years in and Novartis still hasn’t really bothered figuring out how other companies successfully sell buy and bill. This is a worse culture than I could have possibly imagined when I made the ill informed decision to join this company. Yes, I’m just going to use it as a stepping stone, hopefully with a severance package.

What they have figured out is that they will never provides with knowingly accurate syringe data.
It's 2024 and they are still negotiating with A.S.O.C. chains.
That should have been finished in 2020, prior to launch.
They also have figured out how to suppress appropriate payout and recognition by sticking with team goals.
2.5 years after launch and it is still goaled to a team, not a territory.
If there was a shred of self-awareness they would lead every national call with progress in these areas, instead they discuss "culture" and how having a laptop makes us "healthy".
God bless them, as.they somehow still have the confidence to accept a paycheck for this unqualified disaster.

Bingo. Totally agree. Antiquated playbook. Soon they will send us beepers too.

I wonder if they have any kind of surveillance on how often anyone uses the laptops. Do they know mine never leaves my house and hasn’t been powered up in a couple of weeks?

A number of years ago Debbie Henderson was hired to lead Neuroscience (she wasn't qualified). She had come from IMS. She told us we weren't going to get better data because it was too expensive and we should essentially either suck it up or leave. It seems that NVS is still trying to do sales data on the cheap and telling reps to deal with it or move on. I moved on.

if you don’t connect to the vpn weekly on it, you’ll have to send it back. Then they have to do whatever they do and ship back to you.

It’s also not motivating to see good people like Matteo in CE leave. If all the higher ups care about is us increasing our calls, they are not the right person to lead a group of people. Get rid of all of CE. Overpaid, glorified bunch of verbal diarrhea yes men.

Was really upset to see Matteo leave. When someone as talented as he is leaves it’s not a good sign

Results will be bad, morale at all time low. At least two TA had half their salespeople making no dollars last trimester.

Bonus dollars are for selfish assholes. Celebrate the fact that you are now organizationally healthy by working on some Excel spreadsheets on your fancy new laptop! And while you're at it, think of all the money you generated for the shareholders.

Debbie was correct. Novartis doesn’t want to spend the money to get more detailed data down to the territory level. The truth is, individuals above the RD level see the national data and that is all THEY need to measure results and profit. Paying for more detailed data only allows for field sales to get credit and make their IC bonus. They so not care id they pay you for what you sold a d Novartis made their money. That is the reality of it.This happens in Oncology as well.
