Hanson.......go...........

Quit the whining,. We are finally on the right track. Ten years of overleveraging to meet quarterly numbers coupled with 7 years of overpromising and under-delivering to FDA will not be fixed in 6 months

Why is he telling people supply is going to be fixed this month when FDA is still poking around and issuing warnings?
The FDA isn't poking around, that's not how it works. They did an audit, issued a 483, and are expecting detailed update reports. Shit, it's not like they just keep stopping in to see how things are going. And I'm not exactly a Hanson fan, but when did he say supply is going to be fixed this month? I thought he kept dodging the question of when things will be fixed.

Call a spade a spade....
Zimmer was doing OK, not good or great.
Bought Biomet and has now imploded by getting that absolute piece of crap of a company.
ZBH is now a joke, will never return to prominence. NEVER EVER. Too far gone and almost everyone who was good is long, long gone.
Thank God I am gone soon and will be taking ALL my docs with me. Firm commitments. I advise anyone left with any sense to do the same.
There are a ton of great companies out there who need experienced reps who can bring the docs that pay MUCH MUCH better without all the BS.
Cannot wait to start getting the cease and desist letters from the firm in Indianapolis so I can use them as toilet paper. Go ahead and sue my LLC, I will just shutter it down.
Nah, nah,na, nah Can’t Touch This
You f’ing fools

I started at Legacy Z a month or so after Dvorak joined, and over those ~10 years I saw him one time - from afar.... Hanson has been here ~6 months and I have already seen him in person and shook his hand twice. And I'm no corporate bigwig - just a measly engineering cog in the machine.

Look, I know at the end of the day it is naive to believe any CEO has an actual profound sense of duty toward their employees - especially at Zimmer with its HR track record - but at least he is making a fucking effort, which is light years beyond what Dvorak brought to the table. The way I see it is either all of these employee engagement activities are just a part of the bread and circus and will eventually taper off after a year, or there actually is something authentic behind them and he will keep up with it indefinitely.

I'll mention this, though, it has started to "trickle down" some - during a town hall meeting last week an employee asked Kunz why this was the first time they had ever seen him in person over their 17 years of employment, and what he was going to do to be more engaged with his people - you should have seen his face.

I mean I agree and disagree. Hanson seems like a genuinely good person, and that is a whole lot better than DD, but idk if singing kumbayah is going to fix the shitshow. I mean look at mr big shot ^ who has his "FIRM commitments."

I also don't know if the FDA responds well to "pretty please don't close down our plant"

They also need to look at our salesleadership. Rob Delp is a fucking joke. What value does he even bring. Its only a matter of time before the company implodes from inside out.

The only reason Hanson climbed the pole at Covidien so fast is because his sister married the former CEO, Almeida. Conveniently, when the CEO stepped aside as part of the MDT deal, he also left good old BH in the president seat.

The guy is good but not extraordinary.

It’s a sad thing when you look at our leadership. From Hanson and Delp all the way down to the leaders who run the districts. Weak people who are just over their heads or tired people just hiding away and putting in time!

So true, Dvorak created an utterly dysfunctional culture that is destroying the company in slow motion. This veteran is interviewing next week and I feel confident my local distributor won’t care when I leave. Sad times for this once top tier company!

Just watch, the second quarter results will be "not as bad as people expect", stock will go up, Hanson will get a bonus, and everyone will be happy except the reps bc there is no product
