What if we changed the MICP to reflect and individuals contribution rather than global buisness unit sales and profit and global Capex which i have no control over ?

Could we " sack a lot of people and continue to work and generate the same revenue or more "

Baxter and innovation what a laugh , Joe spent 9 years cutting costs in R&D, his tuck in acquistions went to sleep before the tuck in occurred
The highlight of the tuck in was Starling / Cheetah. When he purchased this and told us how exciting it was , was the day i knew he was a fraud.
Then his crowning moment was the overpayment for HillRom post a pandemic with rising distribution costs and cogs.

That was the day i knew he was an ego maniac ignoring the advice of his BD team.
 


Tuck In acquistions is like the Jerry and George tuck in episdoe on Seinfeld = hilarios

All the employees and shareholders are as confused as Lupi the housekeeper on that episode

Oh Heather please keep posting your posts are hilarious keep posting things like " we are stronger together" " Innovation bus is coming"

"Bright future"

Ignore that our share price is 1/3 of what is was, we are looking to constantly fire people to reduce costs to pay down debt and payoff stranded costs

And finally INNOVATION- we are busy launching so many new products wow what innovation

Mentioning Innovation at Baxter has become a curse word. There needs to be SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENT across the entire business.

We are losing great staff members to other companies. It's just not worth working in a place where you have to do the job of Five people.

It's demoralizing for the many of us that want to be proactive and WIN as a business.
 


Baxter is doomed… Hope less whatsoever… huge numbers of unprepared people have been promoted due to all layoffs bringing additional disruption to the company…
Top management are all at low joe’s level and won’t be able to flip the situation around… Baxter needs a great reset before it comes back on track but more likely will be on of those once great companies that will be a victim of weak management combined with ego mania and total lack of vision…

Alot of us are actually hopeful after all these years of being stuck with Low Joe. Brent and Heather are good people. Reaz, Alok and Cecilia are scumbags throw is Jeane, Greco, Tobi, Lynn RA are awful

Put yourself in her shoes. What was Heather supposed to say? She thinks Starling stinks? You can't do that as a new leader to Baxter at the Time.

I completely agree with others comments on lack of investment in people and budgets. We can barely keep the lights on at this point.

She is supposed to say " Starling is not a focus area , it is an opportuntiy cost, assumptions when we purchased this are no longer true"

If you get paid 3-4 Million a year thats what i expect from a "president" not the " lets toe the company line as i want to not upset Joe

Why do you think we made the decision to pull starling from Europe? It’s a small product line and not a big focus. This is peanuts in BAX and not an area of focus
 


It always was peanuts, I was roasted by Joe on Starling, the fact that our CEO spends time about it is the opportunity cost. where we ar enow i was there on day 1 , STARLING = WASTED TIME and is symbolic of Joes knowledge
 


I think the point the poster is making is that Starling should never have been purchased , and that once purchased when Heather became President she should have kiled it faster , but instead just did whatever Joe wanted to hear.

baxter is a complete mess $ 28 dollars a share a maret cap of $14 Billion , that is only 2 B above the HR price .

This is maths , it cant be argued with , Joe and board and all presidents have failed . Yer they keep their job and we sack people around the world to try and preserve OI. OI is falliung faster than HillRom sales under Reaz s' "leadership"
