there are so many threads on here that are discussing current layoffs and rumors of looming layoffs.
having been in the industry for 10+ years, I’ve been through a few re-orgs and layoffs.
i have a 4 month emergency fund and am currently pursuing passive income streams through real estate so there is at least a drip of income coming in,
but I’m open to hearing about other financial strategies so I’m not caught in a scary situation when that HR invite pops up on my calendar.
