How long to impact a territory?

So just how long does it take?
What is the impact of going out and introducing themselves to an office and getting an appointment for 8 months down the road?
I have seen reps blow it out in the first year and get an All Star, according to the sales numbers vs quota, but is it real? I am thinking that any new rep should have 2 or 3 years under their belt before being considered for All Star.. and a trip to wherever. And the recognition.

Its all fantasy. Do not think that your actions lead to sale achievement. You are a cog, like many others, which lurch the machine forward.

Do we all really think the nation is at 108%? What happened year over year. Oh, goals were lowered. That was the change. It was done to keep you here, paid and ready for other assignments.

To answer the question: no, it takes well over a year.

Good luck.

Yes! Understand, I was happy for the quota adjustments, and the incentive $$$ that went with them, but it was manufactured success. How can Niaspan lose 12% nationwide and still be a success? What's the old saing about statistics? We're definitely headed for big changes in 2013.
