HPT

HPT = Happy Pass Time. I have never in my life seen senior leaders across organization align after something as bogus as HPT. Its complete BS and no impact. Jim - shutdown TS with consumer spinoff and go sector based model. TS is irrelevant in 21st century.

We were told directly that nothing is changing in the way we work. Just how often we report what is being done. So, High Performing Teams is just another process that is not properly implemented in JJTS

The Consumer divestiture will result in 15-20% cost overhead for TS which they cannot recover .. so layoffs are coming 2023 /2024 .. HPT is another show & tell but it has major impact on TS future, with TS now being limited to key big platforms now

Ok. Its been since November since the last post. Would be interested in your impression of HPT reception by your business units. My experience is that they could give a S*** and would rather not be bothered. IT has gotten a bit uppity and should learn its place in the hierarchy and back the F*** off. I as a long term senior IT pro can not agree more. We took a model that was fit for a single company, has failed at other major tech companies, bastardized the crap out of it, did that more in areas where there is shadow IT, rolled it out in mass with threats to accelerate adoption with little top down greasing of the skids by senior IT management to business Management and wonder why this thing is spiraling out of control towards the rocky ground.

Your business partners only care about the costs savings realized. Nothing more.

The McKinsey partners don't care as long as they can keep collecting fees. Jnj is easy money for them.
