Warning: Proceed with Caution (or Better Yet, Run from HST & Connected Care)
If you’re considering a job in HST or Connected Care… don’t walk—sprint in the opposite direction. This segment has been underperforming like it’s an Olympic sport—four straight years of “meh” with no medal in sight. The Hillrom acquisition? Let’s just say it was a $ 6B+ punchline. And the integration? A tragic sequel no one asked for.
Raez should’ve been shown the door in season one, yet somehow he’s still starring in this slow-motion trainwreck. Donny Patel is part tech visionary, part chaos muppet—equal parts brilliance and bedlam, with bonus ego. Chris Benassi? Thinks he’s Moses parting the Red Sea, but mostly just spills the wine and calls it a miracle. He has the EQ of an ant (ant will win).
Meanwhile, all the real talent has either escaped or is halfway out the door, leaving behind a crew that’s more “Dumpster Fire: The Series” than high-performing team.
In short: avoid at all costs unless you’re into drama, dysfunction, and watching another titanic take on water in real time.
