My counterpart is a maniacal nightmare. I need to report them to HR, should I do it to my manager first or go straight to HR. I’m new here so any advice is appreciated.

Call Joe Biden he can help. You are posting this on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend? Sounds like you may be the crazy one. You’d also know exactly what the company requires which means you are probably an angry ex. He was probably smart to dump you. Put on your lipstick and go out to find a new boyfriend rather than stalking your ex on this website.

This post is definitely NOT someone who works here. The post on a Saturday night is a dead giveaway of someone who needs a life. To the previous poster if you have a crazy ex I found the Netflix movie Lover, Stalker, Killer was so in tune with a crazy ex I had one time. He used to be on drugs, ADHD meds, alcohol, and then that led to him getting fired from his job in pharma after he had been with the company for so long. They were aware of his toxic traits and he was in management! His poor reps that had deal with the psychotic behavior. His wife had cheated on him and divorced him. Then I dated him and was quickly warned by all of his friends to get out. He used to bite his finger nails nonstop and swallow them it was so disgusting. His drugs and alcoholism and crazy toxic behavior caused me to ah e to call the police on him. I hope that you are NOT in the same situation. Some people really have no life.

What company did this toxic manager work at? I pray that I nor anyone else I care about has to work for someone like this. I have had quite a few managers in my time but none sound anything like this person’s experience. Maybe that is why they got fired? I’m sure the company reached out to the people he was managing and asked for feedbac

T try speaking to your other members on your team and see if you are the only one having an issue. Generally when people are difficult to work with it spreads through the whole team. Have you tried to confront the person about whatever it is they are doing that is bothering you? Chances are the manager did the hiring so he/she would have called references and spoken to other people. Lastly, not pointing fingers but could you be being unreasonable and having issues fitting in?
Good luck finding a resolution to your concern.

I just threw up in my mouth reading this.

I think anyone that works here would
know exactly what steps to take. The person that posted it clearly doesn’t work here or being a new hire didn’t pay attention to the new hire compliance training.
