if I work 2x the hours to make 50% more is that good?

Took me over a year to figure this place out, but:

First, the pay isn't actually that good for all the hours and stress I have

Second, there is no way to get promoted unless you fully buy in to the crazy

Congrats on making it here. You will work very hard but also be compensated. We are the top paying biotech company in the industry. You can always go somewhere else that's easier and less pay. The choice is yours.
 


point 1 is accurate. great pay, but you will bust ass for it. I make near 400k a year and work like I did in device

point 2 is most accurate. unless you embrace the company first, family second mantra you will not be promoted. look around and tell me how much you value our "leaders"

I don't really care because I don't want to get promoted. I want to make bank and be left alone.

I don't see anyone making 400k a year...but I've been just over 300k for last 2 years. And its really not that much "work"- working smart yes. Hard- not so much.
