That distributor has a very typical story:


One guy (name rhymes with lion) was a great rep.  He was outmanned by arthrex but still has a lot of business and I knew several docs who were very loyal to him.  Then they became a distributor and that good rep became a manager and lost touch with his docs.  He thought he was too important to do sales and all that business disappeared. 


One of his loyal docs actually told me this story was to why he doesn't use mitek anymore.  I never picked the mitek guy as being too smart but the mistakes I outlined above are just so typical and so stupid it even surprised me.
