I guess im a naive purist but really how secure are the internal abbott databases that store important manufacturing data.  Im talking about part 11, digital signature stuff, manufacturing process control data, electronic lot history data - in general data that has been marked with 99 year retention.  With what I know, I hope there is never a legal challenge to an electronic signature in one of the systems ive worked with there cause I know for a fact the data security is crap and the legitimacy of the electronic signatures in question.
