Interview - do I have a shot?

I just had a phone interview with a manager - went well. I have no industry experience, but I landed a second interview with a regional director next week over the phone. Any suggestions for me? I really want this job, but from all these posts it seems like it may be unrealistic for me to be hired from outside the industry???

First of all, you say you have no industry experience. I'm assuming you mean you have no pharma sales experience, correct? I'm also assuming you have some connection to oncology, like maybe you have been an oncology nurse for some time now? Otherwise, I can't comprehend how you're even getting an interview. In order to answer your question with an educated guess as to your chances, it would be helpful to know more about your background. In the end however, your chances are relative to who else is in the mix and what they have to offer. So hard to say.
