Interviewing for a CS position

I had a phone screen last week for one of Indivior's open CS positions. I was told this would be a great opportunity to help in the addiction crisis in the U. S.

I am doing my research and have found many red flags:
Recent layoffs
Steep decline in stock price
Federal investigations
Class action lawsuits
New generic competition
Limited pipeline

Also Glassdoor reviews are not good at all.

I am very reluctant to pursue this anymore since I don't want to take a new job and possibly get into bad career situation and possibly getting laid off.

Is everything as bad as it appears in my research or am I missing something?
Any advice is appreciated as I will be moving forward in the process soon.

Probably not the best site to review. But. I left this years after many. It was a good gig for many years. Emphasis on was. They are under DOJ investigation, States are suing in a class action, investors are suing for the 80% drop in stock price. Most will tell you it is not a great situation. You may want to look elsewhere. It’s up to you.

IMO it’s a good move if you are trying to get Specialty experience to add to your resume! I just left after a very long time and like above poster it was great for many years, but it’s changed

I would assume it’s a back fill situation. I would consider how long the last person was there. Why did they leave or how. Trust me it’s a short term opportunity as the company is a mess.

If you are trying to get specialty and injectable experience it could be worth it.

It was an amazing place to work but that changed about two years ago. Now it is just an ok place to work. The change was very drastic if you were used to the good times - but it is now just big Pharma atmosphere. The higher ups used to care about the field employees and value their input - now it is be seen not heard.

All your red flags are accurate but I think the company is right sized after the three waves of layoffs.

There will be fines / so there is that concern. Money has been put aside but it will still be stigmatizing.

It really comes down to your manager. Some are great and some are horrific. There is one with four open territories - obviously there is a reason for the numerous resignations in Florida.

I left for a much higher paying job recently. It is not a good opportunity IMHO. Way too many obstacles for a patient to get drug even if you do everything right. Ask a lot of questions. I know someone who was hired then laid off just a few weeks later. Buyer Beware.

Run....don’t walk away from this position. I left after a year and a half. This company only hurt my resume. At my new company I got a $20K raise and the bonus is $48. Indivior is a joke.....

Indivior is not a career move. The position is open likely due to unreachable goals for the territory. This boat is sinking, with the possibility of the company no longer existing a year from now. You'll never regret NOT doing it.

I am near retirement so I am just hanging around until I am laid off. I would not recommend this job, in good conscious, to my friends and family. It has gotten that bad. Five and ten years ago I had a decent time.

I love how every person on here that left is living the life of Riley. $30,000 raises better company ect. This board has turned into Facebook, look at us we are the greatest family of all time and we make so much money and I love my darling husband. So much BS

Obviously you are one of the lazy CS’s who has not looked for something new or you are just unmarketable. Feel sad for you.
