Everyone company board on this website says management sucks and no one should join the company. We of course know this isn't true. While some places are better than others, this place probably won't kill you.
You need to be objective in your willingness to move one. Factor in base pay, incentive compensation, other bonuses (if available) stock options/RTUs (don't get those at Acrotech), vacation, other comp days such as Christmas break, health benefits, territory size, expectations for time in the field, and so one. It's not rocket science, but it's never easy to make a move unless where you are at is literally dragging you down.
Keep in mind that Acrotech is still riding the coat tails of Spectrum sales. Eventually we'll get new products, and ideally over the next few years acquire some meaningful R&D assets leading to signifiant sales growth upon approval, and probably an eventual IPO. Of course this is about the same story for any small biotech/pharma company and there are huge risks, but also huge upside.
I don't know where this place will be in 2-3 years, or even 6-months. But I'm still working hard to make things better. If we share the same goals we can achieve success.
