Thoughts on the interview process? Anyone receive an offer yet?
never saw any job listings for Neurelis anywhere.
To all who are interviewing,
I worked with some of the leadership folks at another company many years ago. If you get the job, they pay great bonuses and you’ll get equity in the company. If you do the stock purchase and get options, it could be a great move. I wouldn’t expect to retire there but you could make a lot of money. Typically they let you do your own thing with no micromanaging.

Have you read the P.I. Where are these patients? Very small and limited control group in clinical trials. This is such a small niche market and this drug will never get off the ground. Who carries a rescue med when most of these patients are either in convalescent homes, confined to a wheel chair or followed already by a caregiver that will know how to deal with the episode.
The product is a benzo for heaven sake!
you clearly don’t know squat. Talk to an epileptologist before you spout off on here.
yes it’s a small market. Have you not noticed the number of companies operating in the orphan and ultra-orphan space? Maybe pay attention when you are catering lunch to your primary care offices.
The opportunity for this to be an addition to anyone who has a seizure disorder is huge. It will take some time, but it will get there.
My greatest concern is the low compensation will only attract primary care minded people like you.
I hear that they want to launch this drug mid April. How is that going to happen?
I interviewed and decided now was not the time to waste my energy with this start-up, specially in light of today's current events. If you have a job now and are simply looking for a change, now is not the time. Very few companies will even make it out of this Covid-19 situation without major changes or re-structuring. The bigger and more financially sound ones will course correct and be fine, but there will still be adjustments in the way they once operated. Companies like this small startup or others ready to launch new products, let alone those waiting for FDA approval, will have a tough road ahead. Managed care plans will be drastically changing coverage for Orphan status products, since there will be a lot of these plans trying to recoup profits due to Covid-19. Going into a new space where there are already alternative, less expensive and covered therapies in place, could be a bad move right now until all of us get back to work.
