So. The irony here is that ALL of these guys from DM to RBD to NSD and some execs in between and by guys I also mean gals too; talked such a big game. Made it seem so exclusive, so top tier and like ‘Hey look I left Pfizer or AZ or wherever after a long career bc this is going to make my career.’

It is the biggest flop I’ve ever seen, I’m embarrassed for them to be honest. Everyone had heard about the launch and the roles beforehand bc they literally interviewed everyone over a span of 12+ months in every market…I initially thought I really wanted it then I started scrubbing out the red flags and I was like yeah idk what’s tripping me up but this isn’t it. Not that I was offered the role anyway but I was a finalist and I had major hesitations. Thank f&$king god. I’d be panicking right now and so annoyed that I hadn’t made a long term move. What’s funny is who they hired instead of me; I’m so glad he got it
 




The management team is here because they HAVE to be....no other company would hire them. Sluby is here becuase he is friends with the CEO otherwise he would be selling basketballs at Dicks Sporting Goods. Mark has been out of the industry for years! He came back for a check and is clueless about the acute care setting and cannot even spell formulary. Add to this fiasco the fact that and attorney with zero expereince is the one making demands and setting expectations and it is a shitt show and wont be successfull .....and we have zero payer coverage!!!!!
 


The head of sales would be working at Dicks handing our basketballs if he was not friends with the CEO.......the east coast RD is clueless and has been out of the industry for years beofre getting this gig. Its a failure

Maybe the issue is that you think this drug is in the Acute Care Setting.

Mark is another disingenuous fake. Cares nothing about anyone unless it serves his purposes. Will not go to bat for anyone. He has a history of being confrontational and getting fired. Avoid him at all costs.

I think you mean Ambulatory setting and I think you mean hospital formulary. It’s people like you and my manager as to why this company will fail. You both are lost.

Ex Jardiance rep here. Had a phone screen with Lexicon last year. The manager had some serious pie in the sky predictions that I knew were impossible. I told him so, ended the interview early. Everything I said is coming true. I hope nobody left a good job for this one.
 


This job is nothing more than a quick hit with a good base salary. This is not a long term position for anyone who has any clue about how this industry works. Take the money and milk these bastards for as long as you can until you get into another situation that has more long-term stability if that even exists anymore.
 




I interviewed for months with this shit show only to go to the final interview, get an offer and then was told I'm no longer qualified. I hope this company goes bankrupt.

You might get your wish. The company is surviving on the fairly big pile of cash Sanofi had to give them when they walked away from the diabetes partnership. The question is does that run out before they start turning a profit. They have zero ability to go back to the capital markets or do a private placement to raise money.
 






I just keep wondering why everyone is giving Dicks basketball salesmen a hard time as if their skills are not equal to yours. As a matter of fact, I would say they work harder than most of you at their craft and certainly longer hours. The only difference is their sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. They sold a few things and made mostly kids very happy. You got your ass kicked and were told no for three hours before heading to the gym.
