No news, no new threads, is it apathy? Or is everyone just hunting for jobs?

No significant emails from anyone for awhile, not even anything from SB this week? Something is going on.

A new COO was announced last night via email. They are really trying to unload this company to a foreign buyer. Good luck with that!
A new COO? We haven't had a COO since MV passed this POS company to NG. No one in my district got that email.[/QUOTE
You are a dumbshit, everyone got that email!

The investors are beyond desperate and want out now! This guys salary is a small price to pay if can unload this company to a European buyer. Besides, we just cut 175 jobs, $250K is only like 4-5 SS's yearly pay here. I hope we do get sold! I'd say we have a 50% chance of keeping our jobs if we're sold, and a 50% chance of going bankrupt before we're sold. That washes out to a 25% chance for xano , and that's being overly optimistic!
And before you say it, yes I am SB.
The hope is that a prospective buyer wouldnt be looking to buy Zipsor, but an existing pharma company licensed to sell drugs in the US. Its a lot easier to acquire one than build one from the ground up.
Make no doubt about it, we are on the ropes! Cutting all costs, trimming the sales force down to a skeleton crew, and whatever else it takes, has all been done to make this company appear profitable to a buyer. This has been the openly stated goal of our leadership.
However, the impending Darvocet lawsuits will prevent 99.9% of all foreign prospects from buying us and assuming that financial liability. This company needs to make more money...bottomline! Which means more products. Selling Lysteda was a huge mistake, it was done to try and dig us outta debt, but now we're back to being a one-trick pony. Leadership was planning on doing the "one and done" trick and dumping us off to the first buyer, but now with these lawsuits, thats not gonna happen anytime soon.
The pending lawsuits are at least buying us the time to collect a check while looking for work elsewhere.
You are certainly a home office person. Who would know all of this unless you are in the inner circle. The hope is that a prospective buyer wouldnt be looking to buy Zipsor, but an existing pharma company licensed to sell drugs in the US. I can't believe we're still here!!!
And SB is still employed and running this place into the ground...or to the core of the earth at this point!
