Nothing would surprise me anymore in this industry. After reading the posts here and reflecting back on comments from DM's, I can see where there may be a fair amount of validity to the rumor mill on this. It's really a damn shame if this comes about. This company is a good one w/a good product but not so good mid level leadership. When you have mid level management w/slim to no hospital experience and unrealistic expectations (roaming floors, constant contradictions), it's a big challenge. Crap like this is why reps are no longer loyal to companies. There is no competency shown to the reps by their DM's. Why hire tenured very successful reps and attempt to manage them from a primary care mentality??? I don't understand it at all!!! I can only hope that this is truly a wrong rumor, but as I've stated I think it just may be legitimate.
