But it's over now. Good luck to all.
No, maybe not. Robert said that if the 200 arm is allowed to continue AND the study is allowed to re-start in the US; the lay-off may be delayed. Now I wish we were bought by JNJ.
I think it was obvious from the start that this company would be short term at best for hcv. It was either going to be purchased or limited if the studies were not stellar. The later seems to be occurring. Another company would not purchase Vertex now. They will just plug along with their other drugs until one of these drugs become co-promoted etc. by another company.
Management f'd up the studies.
what about sales - we still have BID dosing to sell, right?
1 RX in July. Yeah me!
NE here. You did better than me, but I am not about to disclose my scripts here on Café Pharma!!!
Will the RN educators go as well? Not much for them to do since sales have ground to a halt.
I had 3 Not sure about last few months. I for one am worried about my job. I wish I never signed and I would apply at abbott when its time.
No patients to teach. Take a guess Einstein.
I'll bite...they are being let go shortly?
Yup. they are. I don't even work at Vertex, I could tell you that with confidence. I hear that everywhere. Actually, the vertex people ask me to help find their educator a job. things truly are shutting down
You are weak. Primary care rep no doubt.
Was there an announcement re upcoming layoffs? Work on HCV side but in home office - no visibility to any layoff discussions. In fact, my mgmt acts like all is well - which worries me even more!
I am not MGNT but have friend who is in inside. Trust me all is well with everything except the virology department. There is talk of selling virology patents to a Russian company if 135 goes against us. Everything else is firing on all cylinders with the exception of needing more cash to push these projects to completion. WE DO NOT WANT TO SELL THE COMPANY. Let me repeat that, WE DO NOT WANT TO SELL THE COMPANY. that's all I have for now.
You do not want to sell the company...because YOU CAN'T. Nobody would buy VRTX. WAY over valued and the stock only stands to drop further the closer we get to Dec. 8.
Virology at VRTX is the walking dead.
