How about a little positive about our company? We hear all the bad, but we have some good too.
The days of the $250,000 a year device rep is gone. It is a rare find.
1. My quality of life is great.
2. My manager is great.
3. My co-workers are all amazing people.
4. We have a MUCH higher base salary than other device companies, specifically our
competition.
5. Cook Medical pays absolutely nothing to their reps. When they hit goal they barely
make $80K. (And that's a higher salaried rep.)
6. The pressure on the Boston Scientific reps is incredibly high. Two years of not hitting
their numbers and they are gone. We have people here who have NEVER hit their
number.
7. The Boston reps may have a much higher commision structure but they have a much
lower base.
Perhaps I'm drinking the Kool-aid, but you know what...I could sit here and look at the negatives or focus more on the positives and be happy.
That being said, I think I will continue drinking my Kool-Aid and be happy.
