Why there are no minorities in middle or upper management at Serono.
Look at the Serostim team.
Where is the transparency

How does management continually avoid following the values set up by this company. Your yearly merit increase is partially based on the "values". The examples of blatently not following the values is present from all level of management and there is not a word from anyone about a fix. Wake up HR and legal. Lawsuits are the next step.
Jim drinks the Kool Aid that those boy's pass along.
Instead of open hours, he shold call minority rep's in Serono and ask them if they ever had the opportunity to interview for management positions.
This comment smacks of someone being frustrated..no company would deny a bright individual with leadership, business acumen, the opportunity to step up to the plate. Has anyone risen to the occasion yet? Cream always rises to the top, so where are these bright sparks? At meetings there are minorities that are quite intelligent, and appear hard working, but the ability to lead is a whole other issue. Before anyone gets too excited, yes I am considered a minority, but, know what? I did not use that as an excuse when I fought hard to get promoted...I worked hard and told everybody to give me the chance. If you can't sell yourself, how on earth are you going to sell a Serono product?

I can see you are not African American or Latino.
What is your ethnicity?
Here at Serono minorities don't stand a chance.. Give me an inept white man who can't sell but who is very polish in the political arena and I'll give you a future inept ABD.[/QUOTE
Are you talking about the current RBD - CB?
Minorites don't stand a chance at Serono. Neither do women (the few at the top are in traditionally female fields) and neither do those that are older. Hardly anyone retires from Serono - they get fired first - a class action suit waiting to happen. It's nothing more than an old boys club. The SLT does not live the values (except when it's convenient) because they don't have to and they don't have to as long as they keep pulling in the cash.
I think Serono compliance dept., should take a closer look inhouse instead of wasting time with field reps. The likes of DS and PK, and how they manage to hire friends as ABD's and bypassing worthy field candidates.
Where's are the US attorney's when you need them. So many labor laws are ignored at Serono that you can't believe it happening in this days of strict compliance.
Who cares if you white, black, hispanic, or whatever. If you don't like it here, then leave. No one is holding a gun to your head. If Serono sucks so bad then why are you still around.
